Shigeki Tanaka

Regular price £475.00 Sale

Shigeki Tanaka is a young, passionate and highly skilled craftsman. Tanaka-San has gained his knife-making skill through training in Takefu, Fukui. With his exceptional craftsmanship, and unique yet traditional design, his knives offer something a bit different to the more common hammered Damascus knives.

This range is world famous for it's quality and performance being made from super hard stainless R2/SG2 core steel with a dark damascus layered finish, also stainless. The blade is astonishingly sharp and incredibly well made. A thing of beauty with it's traditional handle.

The handles are a limited run of customs made from stabilised Maplewood, so we only get a few, and when they're gone, they're gone.
