Yoshikazu Tanaka is a master blacksmith from Sakai who forges his knives by hand using traditional methods and produces premium quality examples finished perfectly to the highest standard.
This range of knives is made from White #1 (Shirogami) with a thicker 'workhorse' profile and an exceptional damascus finish using iron cladding. This is a fully carbon knife giving it unrivalled performance but care is advised to keep it clean and dry to avoid the carbon reacting with moisture.
